All in the Details
Top: Old, from the men's section at Buffalo Exchange - similar here // Jeans: self-destructed Citizens of Humanity Paley Jeans, sold out, similar here // Belt: J.Crew // Sunnies: Ray Ban // Flats: Sam Edelman Felicia // Purse: Steve Madden Aria // Earrings: c/o Lemon Drop Boutique
An everyday outfit can be made chic by focusing on the little things. Take your normal jeans + flannel outfit -- add distressed jeans, jewelry, a purse, and a pop of print or color.
Destroyed jeans elevate your look from put together and polished to street-style chic in a hot minute. They're also a great transition piece from summer to fall, easy to pair with flannels like the one I'm wearing here, and go well cuffed with either heels, flats, or sneakers. These jeans (and entire outfit, actually) are without a doubt coming to Austria with me this fall. The ballet flats tie in the blush pink earrings from Lemon Drop Boutique, and the leopard print belt contrasts nicely with my faded camo top. Adding just a little extra thought went a long way here. PSST -- if you need more encouragement to try mixing camo into your print arsenal, check out my post here!

I found a new online jewelry boutique, by the way. It's called Lemon Drop Boutique, and they have adorable stuff for really really really great prices - the earrings I'm wearing here are only $9, and most of their statement necklaces and other pieces are under $15. That is college budget friendly, gals. Go check it out, and use BELLE15 for 15% off your purchase at checkout. Let me know what you find!

Love this outfit and especially those earrings!!
ReplyDeleteI love that delicate shade of pink! If I tried to pair camo w/animal print, I'm sure it would go all wrong, but you make it look super chic and trendy. I hope you have an amazing trip to Austria!
ReplyDeleteNo way girl, you should try it! It's probably my favorite print combo :) I have another post about rocking camo here, if you're interested! http://www.thepdxbelle.com/2015/03/pinterest-at-home-military-inspired.html
